- Since his debut in 1974, he has become the most capped West Indian with over 100appearances and more than 100 catches.
- Beginning at Somerset in 1974, he made over 1000 runs every season, scoring hishighest score of 332 against Warwickshire in 1985 at Taunton, until his acrimonious releasein 1986.
